Our Three-Tiered Approach
The Ridge offers a three-tiered, comprehensive design for recovery care, from medically monitored withdrawal management through intensive residential treatment, as well as sober living accommodations for those who want to extend their stay.
All residential rooms are private with ensuite baths. As an extension of Rushford and a part of Hartford HealthCare’s Behavioral Health Network, your patients will also have access to treatment for co-occurring conditions.
Withdrawal Management
Our 16-bed withdrawal management program is for adults who need medically monitored detoxification from substances including alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines, inhalants, stimulants and more. Individuals are assigned private, single rooms with ensuite bathrooms Treatment time is generally 3-5 days.
Intensive Treatment Program
Our 36-bed residential intensive treatment program for adults employs a variety of holistic and evidence-based approaches tailored to an individual’s specific needs. This generally includes 30 hours of group therapy per week, and weekly individual sessions with a clinician. The program also offers:
- Medication management
- Trauma informed care
- Emotional and spiritual support
- Art and pet therapy
- Sound healing
- Acu-Detox
- Financial counseling and other programs to improve and enhance life skills
- Recreation and fitness options, including access to a full Planet Fitness workout center as well as walking trails, yoga, and movement classes.
- Premier dining, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
- Family support and alumni programs
Time spent in the program may vary, with the average length of stay is 14 – 21 days.
Extended Stay Options
The Ridge has 9 beautifully appointed sober living accommodations with private rooms and ensuite baths for people to those extend their stay in a substance-free, supportive environment dedicated to sustained recovery. Extended stay residents have the option to participate in additional services, including individual and group therapies. These are privately paid services.
