Social Support & Shared Spaces
Whether it’s group activities, such as game nights or recreational activities, The Ridge encourages social interactions and engagement with others on campus. Individuals have much to share that may benefit others moving towards recovery, including support and common experiences.
Spirituality
While The Ridge is non-sectarian, there are many opportunities for individuals to nurture and express their spirituality.
Whether it’s yoga, or a contemplative walk along our beautiful wooded trails with a stop at one of our meditation stations, the serene setting provides a perfect backdrop for spiritual connections.
Dining Services
We offer chef-prepared healthy and delicious plated meals, including vegetarian and gluten-free options, three times daily, along with an assortment of snacks. Meals may also be provided to family members during visits
Family Involvement
Supportive families and significant others can be an important tool in an individual’s journey to recovery. At the Ridge, we encourage family involvement as appropriate. Our resources for families include:
- Weekly family support groups, generally held prior to visitation, led by recovery support specialists
- Educational materials and curriculum
- Facilitated access to Al-Anon and other community resources
- Weekly clinical sessions
- Visitation and participation in special events and activities
- Family meal options
